‘Fit India – Fit Media’ Health Check-up Camp Organized for Journalists in Anand

Inspired by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s vision to promote a healthy lifestyle through the ‘Fit India’ movement, Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel has launched a statewide ‘Fit India – Fit Media’ programme to ensure the well-being of journalists across Gujarat.

As part of this initiative, the Information Department, in collaboration with the Indian Red Cross Society, organized a ‘Fit India – Fit Media’ Health Check-up Camp at the Red Cross Bhavan in Anand. This marks the second consecutive year of this successful campaign aimed at fostering health awareness among media professionals.

Journalists from both print and electronic media actively participated in the camp and appreciated the government’s thoughtful initiative for their health and wellness. Upholding the motto “Health is the first happiness,” the campaign emphasizes the importance of regular health check-ups and preventive care for those working in the fast-paced field of journalism.

The event was graced by the presence of Shri Devendrabhai Patel, Chairman of the Indian Red Cross Society, Anand branch; Dr. Binita Dave, Vaishali Chauhan, and Information Department officers Hetalbhai Dave and Sushilbhai Christian, along with senior journalists and media representatives.
