Visa Dreams Turn into a Nightmare: ₹3.5-Crore Scam Exposed in Anand!

Anand: A fraud case has been registered, 54 days after the incident, against three individuals associated with Visa Synergy, a visa consultancy firm located on Anand–Vidyanagar Road.

The firm, which claimed to have been operating for 24 years, was managed by Dinesh Mani Patel of Kalol, with Mansi Siddharth Limbachiya of Tarapur as proprietor and Kajal Ravji Patel of Lambhvel as counselor. The trio allegedly lured clients through social media by promising visas for Europe, Canada, the UK, and the USA.

In September, the office was abruptly closed, and the accused went absconding. A notice stating “Office closed due to ill health” was pasted on the shutter, along with a contact number that remained switched off.

Police investigations revealed that the agency defrauded over 50 people of more than ₹3.50 crore. So far, 21 victims have reported losses totaling ₹50.90 lakh.

Based on a complaint lodged by Ajay Patel of Dashrath village, Vadodara, the Anand City Police have registered a cheating case and initiated further investigation.
