Anand: Marking the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, a grand Unity March was organized in the Sojitra Assembly constituency of Anand district as part of the statewide Ekta Padyatras. The march began from Tarapur Municipality and was flagged off by Member of Parliament Shri Miteshbhai Patel and MLA Shri Vipulbhai Patel. The event concluded at the Swaminarayan Gurukul in Palol.

MP Shri Miteshbhai Patel said, “The 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Patel is a historic moment that rekindles the spirit of unity and national integrity. A National Unity March from Karamsad to Kevadia is scheduled on 26th November, and similar padyatras are being organized across all Assembly constituencies in the state.” He termed the overwhelming public participation in Sojitra as a heartfelt tribute to Sardar Patel.
MLA Shri Vipulbhai Patel noted that the massive turnout reflected the people’s deep respect, affection, and unwavering faith in Sardar Patel’s ideals.
The march also featured inspiring discourses by Shri Shabdsharan Brahmbhatt and the Swamiji of Gokul Dham Nar, adding a spiritual and motivational dimension to the event.

Assistant Collector of Petlad Shri Hiren Barot, Prant Officer Shri Kunjal Shah, district leader Shri Sanjaybhai Patel, along with leaders of various organizations, officials and staff of Tarapur Municipality, police personnel, health teams, and a large number of citizens participated with great enthusiasm, contributing to the resounding success of the Unity March..
