Under the guidance of the Commissioner of the Karamsad–Anand Municipal Corporation, the Estate Department conducted a drive to remove encroachments along the public walkway and road from Gujarati Chowk to Khatkiwad.
Unauthorized structures, including temporary and permanent stone blocks, green nets, and other obstructions hindering pedestrian movement were cleared by the municipal team. Estate Inspector Shri Pareshbhai Mistry reported that all encroachments in the stretch have been removed and the road has been fully opened for public use. A tractor-load of seized materials was taken into custody during the operation.
The Estate Department has urged roadside vendors not to place goods on public pathways in ways that inconvenience citizens, warning that strict legal action will be taken against any future violations.
