Karnavati University’s NSS Shines: Secures Third Rank in Ahmedabad Heritage Treasure Hunt.

As part of Ahmedabad World Heritage Week: 2025, the NSS unit of Karnavati University participated with great enthusiasm in the Youth-led Heritage Treasure Hunt, organized by A.M.C., AWHCT, and the Elixir Foundation. Showcasing strong teamwork and cultural insight, the team proudly secured third rank in this unique heritage exploration event.

Held on 23 November 2025 across Ahmedabad, the program offered young participants an excellent opportunity to explore, identify, and experience the city’s heritage through an engaging and eco-friendly cycling activity.

The event began with registration and bicycle distribution at the NID Riverfront, followed by a heritage-guided route that took participants to various historical sites. Covering approximately 6.1 to 6.5 km, the treasure hunt concluded at Manek Chowk, where winners were felicitated with prizes and certificates.

This achievement reflects the inspiring guidance of Dr. Tariq Ali, Registrar of Karnavati University. The event’s successful execution was supported by the meticulous planning and coordination of Smt. Anjali Patel, whose efforts were pivotal. The leadership of Khwahish Patel, who guided the team with clarity and commitment, further strengthened the unit’s performance. Together, the team showcased exemplary discipline, teamwork, participation, and responsibility.

For the students, the treasure hunt was not just a competitive event—it was an enriching immersion into Ahmedabad’s essence: its historic streets, artistic traditions, architectural heritage, and vibrant living culture. Such initiatives encourage greater awareness among youth about heritage preservation, civic responsibility, and pride in their city.

With this accomplishment, the NSS unit of Karnavati University once again reinforces that where passion, discipline, and dedication unite, success is both natural and noteworthy.
