As part of the State Government’s Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan initiative to bridge infrastructure gaps in primary education, eight newly constructed classrooms, built at a cost of ₹1.12 crore, were inaugurated at Sandesar Girls’ School in Anand district.

The inauguration ceremony was graced by Shri Hasmukhbhai Patel, President of the District Panchayat; Shri Yogeshbhai Patel, MLA of Anand; and Shri Sunilbhai Solanki, Chairman of the District Education Committee.
Shri Hasmukhbhai Patel emphasized that the newly built classrooms, equipped with modern facilities including a computer lab, will provide a more conducive and technology-enabled learning environment for girl students. He noted that such initiatives will encourage girls to pursue education with greater enthusiasm and help prevent school dropouts.
Shri Yogeshbhai Patel highlighted that the addition of these well-equipped classrooms will play a vital role in ensuring that girls from the village receive quality primary education within their own community.

The event was attended by members of the School Management Committee, the village Sarpanch, teachers, community leaders, and local residents, who lauded the government’s continued efforts to strengthen educational infrastructure and promote girls’ education.
