To promote sustainable and eco-friendly energy solutions, the Government of Gujarat has sanctioned a grant of ₹2.72 crore to the Anand District Panchayat for the installation of solar rooftop systems.
Under this initiative, on-grid solar rooftop systems with a capacity of 3 kilowatts each will be installed at 174 Gram Panchayat offices across the district. These installations will enable the Panchayat offices to generate their own electricity, reduce energy costs, and enhance awareness about renewable energy adoption.
The District Panchayat has appointed an authorized agency for the execution of this project. This initiative is in line with the State Government’s “Green Energy” vision and represents a significant step toward promoting clean and sustainable energy at the grassroots level.
