SSEC’s Parth Moradiya Honoured with Best Leader Award at 3rd NEYP:2025


Under the joint initiative of Students for Development and Environmental Protection Activities, the 3rd  National Environment Youth Parliament : 2025 was organized at the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly in Jaipur. Out of approximately 50,000 applications received from across the country, 200 students were selected, including 20 students from various universities in Gujarat. These 20 students took on different roles in the National Environment Youth Parliament 2025.

Among them, Parth Moradiya, a student of Shantilal Shah Engineering College, Bhavnagar, led Gujarat Technological University (GTU) and took on the responsibility as the Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare. He delivered a speech on the topic:

“Accelerating Efforts to Achieve India’s Vision 2047 and COP Commitments: Guiding the Global South.”

In his speech, Parth emphasized the increased adoption of environmental agricultural practices and agroforestry. He also highlighted that this policy would serve as a milestone in achieving sustainable development goals (SDGs) and encouraged farmers to make greater use of renewable energy sources.
