As part of this national initiative, the State of Gujarat has commenced the Special Intensive Revision of Electoral Rolls from 4th November. In line with the state-wide program, the Anand District Election Office, under the guidance of District Election Officer Mr. Praveen Chaudhary, has implemented this campaign across the district.
Under the supervision of Deputy District Election Officer Ms. Anitaben Lachhun, comprehensive training sessions were organized across Anand district for 1,699 Booth Level Officers (BLOs), 206 Supervisors, and 52 Booth Level Agents (BLAs). Conducted by the respective Electoral Registration Officers (EROs), the sessions were held at key venues across all Assembly Constituencies, including Khambhat, Borsad, Anklav, Umreth, Anand, Petlad, and Sojitra.
The training focused on voter list revision procedures, house-to-house verification, and documentation protocols to ensure the accuracy, transparency, and timely updation of the electoral rolls, thereby strengthening the democratic process.
