Under the guidance of the Ministry of Finance, Government of India, a nationwide campaign titled “Aapki Poonji Aapka Adhikar” (Your Money, Your Right) has been launched to help rightful claimants and heirs recover unclaimed deposits lying in various banks across the country.
As part of this initiative, a special program will be organized in Anand district on Thursday, November 14, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Town Hall, Anand.
According to Lead Bank Manager Dr. Jagdish Patil, over ₹129 crore worth of unclaimed deposits are currently lying in about 24 banks across Anand district. The objective of this program is to assist depositors and their legal heirs in reclaiming their rightful funds.
The event will be attended by representatives from the Department of Financial Services, Government of India, district officials, Reserve Bank of India officers, and officials from various financial institutions and banks.
Dr. Jagdish Patil has appealed to all depositors and their heirs to attend the program with relevant claim proofs and necessary documents to complete the process of reclaiming their deposits. All citizens of Anand district are urged to take advantage of this important initiative launched for the benefit of depositors
